Golf Practice Nets are a great concept! They allow you to take FULL SWINGS at REAL golf balls in your yard. NOTE: QUICK NOTES CAN ONLY BE USED OUTDOORS. FRAMED NETS CAN BE USED INDOORS OR OUTDOORS. Golf Widows take note .. this may help keep your husband near home Not only are they great for stroke and rhythm, but also for loosening up before a round, or league play. (Avoid those awkward moments on the first tee) Going out cold has cost me strokes before! So, get yourself out to a good start, and SAVE on driving range fees at the same time. |

Confessions of a Regular Golfer:
We love to play golf but there was a time when was not all that great, It's true! I could not break 100 to save my life (playing an honest round).
One weekend we went up to visit my folks and play golf. Dad had set up a golf practice net in the back yard. So we took turns hitting balls and critiqued each other's shots. And with some more warm up the next morning, there was a big difference!! - close to that 100 I was looking for on a brutally difficult course. The important thing is that I knew I had played better.
Well, my "gal" agreed with me about what a great idea the nets were. She also played with more confidence because she didn't go out to the course "cold"...wouldn't you know, she gave me a golf practice net for my birthday.
PRACTICE - There is no one THING I can attribute more to my improved game than a practice net. I can practice chipping around the yard and practice putting in the living room or on the practice green. But, if you want to practice full swings you either have to go the the driving range or have a practice net.
Going to the driving range does help, but it doesn't seem to last. The fact is that perfecting your golf swing is all about Muscle Memory. That's why Pros never stop practicing.
You will improve your game more by hitting ONE BALL two times a day than you will hitting 200 balls once a week.
Using a Golf Practice Net will "groove" your swing and frequency WILL pay off.
I set my net up in the yard during the warmer weather and hit a few balls any time. You can "hit a few" to break from mowing the lawn or to unwind after work. When the Pros on TV show their 'Tip of the Day', I just have to run out and try it!
Now I'm disappointed when I don't break 90. I even get into the 70s once in a while.
SAVE MONEY - a practice net costs about as much as a round of golf! I used to lose about 3 balls per round, and now, maybe I lose one. We might play twice a week - total that over fifteen weeks and that's 60 balls, or about 40 bucks!!
